Musical ride training
I know it doesn't look like much is going on in this picture but last night we had another practice for the musical ride with the four lead horses. For the first time we included a three year old stallion, Bart on the ride and considering all the other horses were mares, he behaved himself very well.
Thursday night there will be two more of the riders joining us - so I hope itcontinues to go well - especially as we only have a month of training left and we are far, far from ready!!!

Ah, says my neighbour looking over my shoulder at the photograph...a tope. (a ride through the town with the horses showing off their dressage paces).
ReplyDeleteNo, I say rashly, a musical ride.
This one is going to take me the rest of the morning!
Bon Chance Helen!!! xx
ReplyDeleteI know just what it is like. I was looking through one of my old photo albums the other day only to see me in uniform with 15 other riders doing a musical ride. Wow, but that takes me back a few years!!!! Looking forward to Thursday :-) Diane

ReplyDeleteOh, don't get too excited then Diane!!!! still needs lots of work and Vera thank you - I still think you should give it a go xxx

ReplyDeleteHi Ann, yes it is wonderful and I met Diane today and showed her around all the horses. She seemed to really enjoy being back around them right until I fell off in front of her and reminded her it's a dangerous sport lol!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha photo following. I had a great time thank you so much. Hope you are OK. Diane
