I have finished off a bit more of the wall and as usual couldn't resist sticking a basket with flowers in onto it within seconds of putting the wood treatment brush down - poor Neil despairs of me

Keith has put a render on the wall so that the staircase can be fixed and mounted and he is also going to put some of our floor tiles down so that the bottom flight can go in, so it feels like things are happening here.

Just as well that things are happening inside as outside we have even had a flurry of snow today - snow!! I have had to rush out and cover the pumpkin seedlings with some lemonade bottles to try and protect them a bit. One minute sunshine, the next arctic blasts - what's happening with this weather!!!

  3. Snow?!!! We did see it on the forecast for the Pyrenees and also for southern Catalunya, but thank goodness we didn't get any. The wall's looking good, and I love the flowers!

  5. You sound like you are having fun! I have been through the worst of renovation I think now but we still have 3 rooms we would like to put in the barn. I only wish my husband could retire and then I would not have to say goodbye so often!
The cold is way off at this time of the year but I have not (as yet) had any snow! Diane

  7. I would have put something up on the walls as well, Roz, and I think your walls look lovely. Torrential rain here for the last couple of days, but no snow. Just loads of water everywhere. Nice to see you coming along with your place. It looks a lot tidier than ours, and less dusty.

How are the new sheep coping with the rain - hope the tarpaulins are holding up!!!
